Healing a la Edgar Cayce

I wonder, what did Christ feel when he said He’d felt something like energy flow from him. It occurred when this woman who had been bleeding for a number of years had so much faith that He could heal her that she just touched him or his clothes. She was healed instantly. He knew could feel it.

In reading the Cayce information on healing, I see that to make healing available to another person, the healer does not have to be perfectly healed him or herself. The healer needs only to raise the Christ energy within themselves. The person who is being healed respond at the energy level to the raised energy of the healer.

So, I wonder, what did Christ feel? He must have been doing a different kind of healing if he could feel something flow out of Him.

Meeting Soul Mates

Often people think of a soul mate relationship as being between lovers. However, just about anyone you have a soulful relationship with is likely someone you have known in a previous life.

Almost surely your parents, brothers and sisters, and children are souls you have known before as well. Close friends and lovers also qualify.

Sometimes, you meet someone and there’s an immediate attraction. This may not necessarily be a sexual attraction either. Even with friendships there is often a feeling almost of love at first sight as you recognize, on a soul level, that this is someone you know. You feel fascinated by them.

I remember being six years old on my first day at a new school. Standing at the door to the classroom, was the most beautiful little girl with blue-black hair dressed in a flouncy lemon yellow dress.  I felt instantly fascinated in her.

We became the deepest of friends. Scarcely a weekend went by without one or the other spending the night at the other friend’s house. That’s soul mates.

Mary Mother of God’s Appearance in Egypt

Mary, the Mother of God has had two major appearances in Egypt. In 1968, in Zeitun, a suburb of Cairo, and in Asyut, a town forbidden to foreigners, situated along the Nile in the middle of the country in the year 2000.

Legend has it that Mary and Joseph, when they fled from King Herod with Baby Jesus, traveled in Egypt, Asyut being the most southerly place they stayed.

The apparition that manifested in Asyut was unusual in that everyone could see her. Usually, only one or at the most a handful of visionaries can see Mary, for example, in Fatima in 1917 when three peasant children saw the Holy Mother.

In Asyut, everyone could see the apparition.

Honeybee in Flower Photograph

Perhaps you’re wondering if I managed to get any good photographs of honeybees, considering the way they zoomed around like little air-borne torpedoes.

Well, I did. Many of the photographs took look grand, especially with the early morning dew on the flowers and leaves. I’m pleased to say that I will have enough photographs to choose a great one for next year’s “Divine in Nature: With Quotes from Edgar Cayce” calendar.

Here’s an example:

Photography: Honey Bees

It’s now time to take photographs for next year’s “Divine in Nature: with Quotes from Edgar Cayce” calendar. I have just had the most amazing fun taking photographs of honey bees. The tiny creatures are so delightful and pretty in their velvet vests, and so busy and focused on their business.

Since a number of the psychic readings given by the “sleeping prophet” on seeing the divine in nature refer to bees, I thought it’d be a good idea to take pictures of them.

Well, I had no idea the little critters could fly so fast! It’s easy to take their picture while they’re buzzing around in the flower collecting honey. But, as soon as they catapult out of the flower, they blast out as if they’ve been shot by a cannon. My auto-focus digital camera can’t focus in time.

Furthermore, I wanted a picture of them flying with their legs hanging down. Guess what? They often fly with their legs up imitating a torpedo.

When I finally did get a relatively in-focus image of a bee flying with legs hanging down, its wings were whirring so rapidly that the wings didn’t even register in the picture. And, the little fuzzy buzzer almost flew out of the frame–too busy to cooperate. They do not pose well.p>

Here’s two only-slightly out-of-focus pictures of the amazing creatures:

Newsweek Article Says 20% of U.S. Population Believes in Reincarnation

An article in the August 20 / August 27, 2007 issue of Newsweek Magazine refers to a 2005 Gallup Poll finding that 20% of all U.S. adults believe in Reincarnation.

Furthermore, it says that a recent survey by a Christian nonprofit research company has revealed that a surprising 25% of U.S. Christians believe in reincarnation and that 10% of born-again Christians find reincarnation their preferred end-of-life scenario.

I find this a welcome surprise because I didn’t expect born-again Christians to believe in reincarnation. New Age Christians or non-denominational worshipers–Yes–but not born-agains.

Edgar Cayce on Soul Mates and Twin Souls

Interestingly, Edgar Cayce describes one twin soul couple as being the same soul as far as the earth is concerned.

Although your twin soul is also your soul mate, you have many soul mates but only one twin soul.

Since twin souls are basically the same soul in two bodies, some people believe,  that one twin must be male and the other female. However, I don’t believe this must necessarily be so.

Since I am a female in this life and remember a lifetime in which I was male, it makes sense that there may be lifetimes in which twin souls incarnate as the same gender and in other lifetimes as opposite genders.
