I just received emails with attachments of photographs of two paintings by the same artist. One painting is of Mother Mary, the other is of Jesus.

Here’s a lovely quote from Joan Clarke’s Twin Soul Separation:
I am reading a lovely book by Joan Clarke called Twin Soul Separation. Part poetry and part prose, it recounts the author’s memories of her soul’s separation into two twin souls.
I read that as a soul progresses toward leaving the reincarnation cycle, the incarnation of twins is less often as lovers and more often in a relationship in which they work together to provide service to others. One example would be Edgar Cayce and his secretary Gladys Davis.

Because I met my husband first in a dream before I encountered him in waking life I have wondered about soul mates and twin souls. The dream told me about his home, his dog, his best friend, his work, and showed me how he looked. I was delighted to find this description of a soul mate from the Jewish tradition:

Interestingly, Edgar Cayce describes one twin soul couple as being the same soul as far as the earth is concerned. Although your twin soul is also your soul mate, you have many soul mates but only one twin soul.
