Vermont Lake Champlain Photography Cruise

At last, the rain has stopped and the overcast sky has given way to lovely white clouds and clean blue sky.

Today, I’m going on a Lake Champlain boat cruise during which I hope to take some great pictures for next year’s Edgar Cayce Calendar, the Divine in Nature: with Inspirational Quotes from Edgar Cayce.

Then, it’s off to Montreal on the bus where I’ve heard that the Botanical Garden is the place to visit for fantastic nature pictures.

Vermont and Cambodia Photographs

I’m in Vermont now where I’ve met an amazingly talented and skilled photographer David Seaver.

He specializes in wedding, event, travel, and ad photography.

My favorites on his web site are the Cambodia photos or check out the wedding fashions in Montreal’s famous Ice Palace–fantastic. Check out his web site at: http://www.DavidSeaver.com.

The Purpose of Psychic Development

I found the following quote interesting because I believe that Edgar Cayce’s purpose in giving trance readings is one of the reasons he was such a great psychic

Cayce believed he was able to enter psychic/mediumistic trances for a reason; he could help people with them. Thus we have Cayce deciding in the early 1920’s that not only did he only want to use his gifts in this way but that his readings only really worked when his intentions were strictly benevolent.

Do you think the “sleeping prophet of Virginia Beach” would have been such a successful medical intuitive if he had had a different purpose, for example, to show people how wonderful he was with his psychic abilities?

Tell Stories to Change Lives

Here’s another online resource that I’ve found helpful. It’s from Ronda del Boccio, another mentor of mine. She’s the Story Lady and creator of the Storyation process. She writes:

You are a restless spirit. You’re not satisfied with things the way they are. You want to create something big—something wonderful for your life. You want to live a life to be proud of and a life that changes other lives every day.

Entrepreneur | Visionary | Dreamer

If it’s part of your work to write, speak, present or persuade, I invite you to check out her web site at http://www.Storyation.com.

Check Out the New Visual Search Engine

Here’s a post from my online marketing mentor, James Maduk

Description: There’s a brand new search engine in town and you NEED to KNOW about it!

http://www.searchme.com is the url for a brand new search engine that you’ll want to checkout.

Why? Because it’s a “Visual Search Engine“!

James Maduk’s SmallBiz University

I’ve checked out http://www.searchme.com and it is really neat. Instead of listing text descriptions of web sites, searchme shows you the pages.

You don’t have to click through and back–back and forth, back and forth. Instead, you get to see what the page looks like right away.

Go take a look!

Psychic Development Experience: Spirituality

Here’s a quote from Sue Shipley’s blog on her first experience contacting the dead. You can read the whole post by clicking on the link below the quote.

It tells the story of how Sue went to her first Psychic Development class. It happened to be led by a spiritualist, a person who believes the dead are easily accessible.

During the class meditation, Sue saw information that made no sense to her. However, another woman in the class explained that Sue had contacted the woman’s grandmother.

This is Sue’s conclusion:

There it was. So easy! In that tiny living room in rural Northumberland, I had my first interaction with the spirit world. Sheila’s mother had visited. There was no fanfare, no misty visions, just a simple picture – a snap shot of life to let Sheila know that her mother was there.

Quick Brown Fox: The Spooky Art of Psychic Development, by Sue Shipley

I like this story because it shows how an ordinary person can learn how to contact the spirit world with just a little bit of guidance. Of course, the ability to contact the spirit world is just one of many psychic talents a person can develop.

Psychic Development: Write Down Your Dreams

Yesterday’s blog post said how important it is to write down your dreams if you want to access your own personal psychic source. If you don’t write your dreams down, you’ll likely forget them.

Here’s a good example from my own experience. In my March 28, 2008 blog post, I said that I had totally forgotten a very significant dream that had told me to wake up and take photographs of the sunrise. Here’s an excerpt from that post:

I came across another set of sunrise photographs labeled, “From dream that told me to wake up.” These are lovely misty sunrises. I love them and will likely use one of the photos in the calendar.

Dream Interpretation: Write Your Dreams Down — Carol Chapman

If I hadn’t labeled the resulting photos as “From Dream that told me to wake up,” I would have never known the gorgeous pictures had resulted from a dream.

Isn’t it amazing that some part of our psyche, while sound asleep indoors with the blinds closed, is awake enough, exists free of the body, and yet is capable of sensing enough to know that outside there’s a fantastic sunrise worth photographing.

The gorgeous photograph from this morning’s misty sunrise is in the 2009 Edgar Cayce Calendar.

Psychic Development: Dream Study

In my July 3, 2008 post, I said that dream study is an easy avenue for most people to access their psychic abilities. Dreams can provide clairvoyancetelepathy, knowing the future, and communicating with the dead

However, it isn’t enough to dream. You also have to write your dreams down. If you don’t, you will likely forget the dream. Even if you remember the dream, you will likely forget important details of the dream.

Has that ever happened to you . . . that you woke up remembering a fantastic dream, became distracted, and, when you went to tell someone about your dream, the memory of it was totally gone?

Angels and Orbs or Dust?

Today I had lunch with a number of dear friends. Two of the women have also taken photographs that contain the orbs that some think are angels

A while ago, we had examined the orbs in one of the woman’s photos. She said that some people had told her that the orbs were caused by dust on the lens.

However, I know this is not so because just about every lens has some dust on it and you cannot see the dust in the photo.

Furthermore, a few of the orbs in her photograph had distinct edges. Dust would look blurry. It would also be irregularly shaped.

These images were definitely round. Also, dust would be dark, not light. These orbs looked luminous.

Without a doubt, the many floating round luminous forms in her photograph were something other than dust. A truly interesting phenomenon.

Have you ever taken a photograph in which there were orbs?

You can see my photos of the orbs in my garden in my July 17, 2007 post or go to the “Angels and Orbs” category in this blog.
