Google Maps’ Atlantis disappears!

On March 17, 2010, I wrote a post on this blog saying that Google Maps had supposedly found Atlantis off the coast of Africa, that is, until the Google mappers realized that they mapping boat had actually created the grid that some thought looked like city streets.

Now, improved mapping techniques have eliminated the grid artifacts in recent Google mapping forays over the ocean floor, according to a Mobile Magazine article.

The internet giant, in a drive to clean up, or rather upgrade, its ocean mapping system, has removed from Google Earth the image which was believed to be that of the lost city of Atlantis.

Are the ancient supercontinents of Gondwana and Pangaea related in any way?

I wondered if Gondwana had anything to do with Pangaea the ancient supercontinent. According to Wikipedia, the supercontinent of Gondwana, which was originally called Gondwanaland, joined with Laurasia to form Pangaea. Gondwana existed from 510 to 180 million years ago.

I’m interested, because I wonder if there is evidence that points to previous lost continents such as Atlantis and Lemuria.

Possible parts of the lost continent of Lemuria discovered off the coast of Australia

It was once a megacontinent. It encompassed present-day Australia, Antarctica, and India. We call it Gondwana.

Parts of the submerged portions of Gondwana were found a month ago off the cost of Australia. Rocks on the underwater “islands” show fossils that once existed in shallow coastal waters, not in their present location, 2,000 meters or 6,600 feet–more than a mile–below the ocean floor . These submerged islands had likely once been above water.

Were they once part of the lost continent of Lemuria?

Dynamic Seminar: Influences of Atlantis and Lemuria in Yucatan

I am delighted to post a description of one of my favorite seminars, Influences of Atlantis and Lemuria in Yucatan, because it includes a dynamic PowerPoint presentation. Participants at this seminar told me that they loved the embedded videotaped interviews with a Mayan man describing the “stories of his grandparents” and a expert on Mayan culture. These interviews provide information that show the influence of both Atlantis and Lemuria in the Yucatan. For more information on this fascinating topic, please click here.

New Seminar Topic: The Advent of the Fifth Root Race

This is one of my “far-out” seminar topics, but I really enjoy talking about the root races and the upcoming fifth root race since I not only have past life memories of reincarnation, but also memories of my experiences in previous root races. During past life regression, memories of Atlantis, in which I wasn’t human, surfaced. The “root races” is a topic written about by Edgar Cayce, Madam Blavatsky, and Rudolph Steiner. For more information on The Advent of the Fifth Root Race, please click here.

For an interesting reincarnation past life regression story of past life memories of the root races, check out my book When We Were Gods. In it I recount my experiences when I went to a hypnotherapist to lose weight. When she put me in deep hypnosis, I not only connected with previous lifetimes that contributed to my present problems with overweight, but also the fabulous world of the lost city of Atlantis where I wasn’t even human but an animal mixture that I called a “Pixie-face frog being.”

Don Alejandro Cirillo Guatemalan Mayan Elder prophecies

When I read Mark Heley’s online article on Don Alejandro Cirillo prophecies for 2012, I was reminded of my interview of an American man who had been married to a Mayan woman for 10 years. I had asked the man if he knew of any predictions the Maya made for 2012. He replied that, although he was not allowed into the sacred observances of the Maya he lived among for 10 years while he was married to his Mayan wife, he did hear the Maya talking among themselves about “2000 and then a little bit” in reference to predictions of upcoming earth changes. I wrote about my experience with this man in my book When We Were Gods. I interviewed him in 1999.

Interestingly, Don Alejandro Cirillo, who is a revered elected leader of the Mayan Council of Elders of Guatemala and a thirteenth-generation Quiche priest, also refers to a vague “some time that is coming soon” rather than to a definite date such as December 21, 2012 in making his prophecies of earth changes. In fact, according to Heley’s article, Cirillo does not have strong feelings about events specifically occurring on December 21, 2012 at all. Furthermore, he does not believe that this date is necessariy the accurate date for the end date of the Mayan calendar.

He does say that we need to prepare ourselves of a time of major earth changes, such as earthquakes and floods, and characterized by a number of days in which the sun will be darkened. He suggests that we remain indoors during this unusual time when the sun is darkened and in anticipation to have stored food and water on hand. After this time of the sun’s darkening, there will be a new world.

On October 26th, I will be speaking at Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on “Do Mayan Shamans believe the world will end in 2012?” The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and is sponsored by the Edgar Cayce Forum.
