This east-facing wall on one of the four buildings surrounding the “Nunnery Quadrangle” – it was given this name because Spanish explorers thought the rows of small chambers looked like a nunnery – has a bas relief carving with a character from a Maya myth. The Nunnery Quadrangle is part of the extensive Mayan ruins at Uxmal, Yucatan.
I will be discussing this myth at the Edgar Cayce Forum in my talk The Yucatan Connection to Atlantis and Lemuria Using Cayce Clues and Mythology, which will be held at Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. in Virginia Beach, Virginia at 7:30 p.m. on this upcoming Wednesday, September 29th.

This Wednesday, on September 29th at 7:30 p.m., one of the Maya myths I will be discussing will be about an Alux (pronounced Alush), one of the “Little People.” My talk, The Yucatan Connection to Atlantis and Lemuria Using Cayce Clues and Mythology, will be held at Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is sponsored by the Edgar Cayce Forum. When We Were Gods
Arrival of the Gods in Egypt
As I said in my September 15 post, the Maya, when they look at the full moon, do not see a “Man in the Moon” but a “Rabbit in the Moon.”
In the nature photograph of yesterday’s full moon, I’ve taken the liberty to draw the outline of the rabbit to illustrate how it could be that the Maya see a Rabbit in the Moon.
When the Maya, whose ancestors built Chichen Itza and made the 2012 predictions, look at the moon, they see a rabbit.
On Wednesday, September 29th, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. (next week) I will be discussing the ancient Maya mythology of the moon goddess and her companion, the rabbit, at the Edgar Cayce Forum at Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
My talk is called, The Yucatan Connection to Atlantis and Lemuria Using Cayce Clues and Mythology. Attend the Edgar Cayce Forum on September 29th and see how the myth of the Moon Goddess and the Rabbit illustrate the connection between Yucatan and Lemuria.

This digital photograph was taken shortly after the moon rose above the horizon. Although I tried hand-holding the camera, it was obvious that at such a long exposure, I’d need a tripod. But, because the moon and earth are moving, not too long an exposure, which meant that the well-focused image was underexposed and needed some “massaging” in PhotoShop.
It is amazing that the moon is really not that light. Of course, compared to the darkness all around the full moon, it looks very bright. But, it is not compared to daylight.
I love the yellow color of this nature photograph which resulted from the moon being close to the horizon. The color is not altered.
I also love the very distinct images of the moon features which seem to be green. Maybe that’s where they got that saying, “the moon is made of green cheese.” So, maybe it is!
Yesterday I took a fantastic photo of the full moon just in case it was clouded over today. Well, today’s full moon is even better.
Here’s yesterday’s photo. It was the equinox!
I came across this very comprehensive article on scientific advances in studying plasma, which can behave in a life-light manner.
According to the article, metaphysicians believe that genuine orbs, which are made of plasma, are the “astral” body of a deceased person.
Plasma Life Forms – Spheres, Blobs, Orbs and Subtle Bodies
According to this very long, detailed, full-of-information article, “genuine” orbs, in comparison with camera effects of light and dust or water droplets, can have a double outer membrane similar to the skin around an onion.
Take a look at these photographs submitted to me by Zihna Jones in Wisconsin and posted on this blog on January 26, 2009 in an article entitled, Fantastic Orbs Photos Include Orange and Golden Orbs!
Orbs by Zihna Jones in Wisconsin
In the close-up, below, of two of the orbs in the above photograph, you can see the “onion-like architecture” of the larger orb.
If you want to get a better look at the concentric spheres inside the orbs in the close-up photo below, you will have to go to the original post at (just click on this link and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the post the link takes you to) Fantastic Orbs Photos Include Golden and Orange Orbs .
Orb with "Onion-like Architecture"
I highly recommend the Plasma Life Forms – Spheres, Blobs, Orbs and Subtle Bodies article for its detailed descriptions of many phenomenon associated with plasma from scientific experiments to ghost hunters to metaphysical views. However, I wish it had a definition of plasma because, although everything sounds great in the article, I don’t have an idea just what plasma is.

The archeological site of Chichen Itza:
The Archeological Site of Chichen Itza, Yucatan, Mexico during a nighttime sound and light show
The land under the Chichen Itza ruins used to be privately owned until this year. However, as this online article at Art Daily recounts, the owner Hans Jurgen Thies Barbachano sold the 205, 067 acres for $17,800,150 US on March 29, 2010 to the State of Yucatan, Mexico.

I’m doing research for my talk at the Edgar Cayce Forum, THE YUCATAN CONNECTION TO ATLANTIS AND LEMURIA USING CAYCE CLUES AND MYTHOLOGY on September 29th at 7:30 p.m. at Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The myth of the creator god Itzamna interests me. But, who was Itzamna? He sounds similar to Kukulcan who is supposed to be the Maya version of Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent. But is he?
