Edgar Cayce Acid-Alkaline Balanced Diet for Wellness

I have found the Edgar Cayce suggestion of eating 80 percent alkaline-reacting to 20 percent acid-reacting foods to be quite helpful in my life. I’ve often found that eating oranges or even a couple of leaves of raw kale can help to stop a cold in the offing. Of course, it’s best to use prevention and keep away from too many sweets and starches, which seem to predispose me to a cold.

From a blog from Australia:

“Edgar Cayce indicated that cold and flu germs thrive in an overacid system. What can cause this imbalance? Poor diet, stress, and even negative thinking!

Deal constructively with stressful situations by quieting yourself within and looking for positive solutions. Try not to allow yourself to think negatively! Negative thoughts can impact not only your happiness, but your health as well.

The [physical] solution: Be sure that 80% of your diet comes from alkaline-forming foods, such as all fruits (except cranberries, plums, prunes and strawberries), all vegetables (except lentils and corn), milk, molasses, brown sugar, and brewer’s yeast.”

Welcome to a Journey In Joy & Art Adventures!

I appreciate that she also includes the value of positive thinking and also feeling good. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in the food that I forget how important de-stressing through exercise, socializing, and leisure activities can be.

Healing a la Edgar Cayce

I wonder, what did Christ feel when he said He’d felt something like energy flow from him. It occurred when this woman who had been bleeding for a number of years had so much faith that He could heal her that she just touched him or his clothes. She was healed instantly. He knew could feel it.

In reading the Cayce information on healing, I see that to make healing available to another person, the healer does not have to be perfectly healed him or herself. The healer needs only to raise the Christ energy within themselves. The person who is being healed respond at the energy level to the raised energy of the healer.

So, I wonder, what did Christ feel? He must have been doing a different kind of healing if he could feel something flow out of Him.

It’s a great place. I’ve spoken there before–met some wonderful people. Getting excited.

“Divine in Nature: with Quotes from Edgar Cayce” 2008 Calendar

Today, I’m working on the bonus gifts associated with the Edgar Cayce calendar. I’ve taken the photographs in the calendar and added the inspiring quotes from Edgar Cayce on seeing the divine in nature to make beautiful inspirational images that can be used for computer wallpaper

Here’s an example:

Virgin Mary: the Immaculate Conception

If, as I’ve asserted in the last two posts, immaculate conception is a natural law, does it exist in humans?

Since Cayce’s 1937 trance reading was correct about immaculate conception being a natural law, let’s look at his reading on immaculate conception in humans. Specifically, was Jesus actually immaculately conceived? And, for that matter, was his mother, Mary?

According to trance reading 5749-8, “Neither Mary nor Jesus had a human father.

In reading 5749-7, he also says that in the Biblical story, Enoch and Melchizedek were also conceived without a human father.    So, there you have it.

To your success and happiness,

Edgar Cayce Prediction: Immaculate Conception

A September 25, 2002 online National Geographic article at:

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2006/12/061220-virgin-dragons.html

says that “A female white spotted bamboo shark at the Belle Isle Aquarium in Detroit surprised zookeepers in July by giving birth to two babies. Why the surprise? It was a virgin birth: She hadn’t been near a male for six years.”

The article goes on to say that:

“The births have raised questions among scientists as to whether sharks may be able to reproduce parthenogenetically, a mode of reproduction in which the egg is not fertilized. These so-called virgin births are common in invertebrates like snails, but are unusual in higher vertebrates.”

Again, I point out this article in support of Edgar Cayce’s trance reading which said, in 1937, that immaculate conception is a natural law.

Take care and keep well,

Edgar Cayce Prediction: Immaculate Conception is Natural Law

In a June 27, 1937 trance reading given by the world’s best-documented psychic Edgar Cayce, the Virginia Beach “sleeping seer” said:

“It’s like many proclaiming today that the Master was immaculately conceived; they say “Impossible!” They say that it isn’t in compliance with the natural law. It IS a natural law . . .” (5749-8)*

It turns out that scientists are proving Cayce right. In December, 2006, a Komodo Dragon lizard, which grows to 10 feet or 3 meters in length conceived a clutch of eggs that hatched into four surviving babies. Scientists attest that she conceived her babies without a male.

In a December 21, 2006 TimesOnline article at http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article759338.ece

Mark Henderson, Science Editor says:

“Parthenogenesis, which is derived from the Greek words for virgin birth, occurs when an egg spontaneously begins dividing as if it were an embryo, without being fertilised by sperm. It is known to have produced live young in about 70 vertebrate species, mostly reptiles and fish, and is thought to be encouraged when females are separated from males.”

Congratulations, Edgar, for another accurate psychic reading!

Edgar Cayce and Nature

As part of the calendar, I need to write a bit of information on Edgar Cayce. It occurs to me that Edgar would have liked the idea of the calendar. Until he gave psychic readings full-time, he had a business as a professional photographer. Pictures would appeal to him.

Furthermore, the calendar is called, God in Nature. Cayce loved being in the out-of-doors. When he was a child, he had a special place in the woods where he would read his Bible. It was here that a luminous lady appeared and asked him what he wanted most. He said to help people, especially children.

As it turned out, his wish was granted. He gave over 14,000 trance readings, many of them helping people who were ill, or confused, or lonely, or wanted direction in their lives. Many of the readings were for children.

In a number of his readings for individuals, he says how being in nature can be so helpful to us.
