Edgar Cayce Reading re: Mayan Sun Temple

Here’s an excerpt from an interesting reading numbered 2073-2. I found this while doing research for my upcoming speaking event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There’s more information on my speaker web site at: http://www.CaroleChapman.com.

The reading was given on April 12th, 1940 for a 39-year-old housewife with a Roman Catholic background.

“Before that the entity was in the land now known as or called the Poseidian land, or Atlantean land, during those periods in which it was breaking up, and when the children of the Law of One (to which the entity was enjoined) journeyed from the land into portions of what is now the Yucatan land.

“The entity then was a Princess in the Temple of the Sun, or the Temple of Light; though others have interpreted it as the Sun.”    (2073-2)

I found this interesting because, when visiting Yucatan earlier this year, we came upon a Temple of the Sun. On one of the stairs leading up the pyramid, we found carved in the stone a symbol of what looked like a sun with light swirling around it.

Now I wonder if this could have been the temple of this reading especially since the symbol could have also illustrated light.

Cayce: Egyptians Came to Yucatan

In a psychic reading, Edgar Cayce, the “sleeping prophet of Virginia Beach” said that an individual, who was designated by the anonymous number of 3384-3, had at one time lived in the “Egyptian land” and had been prepared in a facility called the Temple Beautiful to come to the land that is now known as Yucatan.

As far fetched as this statement seems to be, there are indications that people who looked like Egyptians were in the Maya’s land, for example, the large stone heads with African features found around La Venta in Tobasco.  Archeologist believe these are sculptures  of the Olmecs, ancient  predecessors of the Maya

Ancient Maya of Classic Period Not Atlanteans

In yesterday’s post I said that American’s great psychic Edgar Cayce had said, in trance, that the ancient Maya had come from Atlantis. Since Atlantis had been destroyed by 9,000 BC according to Plato, the Maya of the Classic period, from about AD 350 to 800 could not have been the ancient Maya Cayce referred to.

Ancient Maya Came From Atlantis

According to the psychic readings of Edgar Cayce, the ancient Maya were Atlanteans who traveled from Atlantis to the stable lands of the Yucatan before Atlantis went down into the sea.

Therefore, their amazing astronomical abilities and their very accurate calendar system, including the Long Count Calendar,  originated in the technological prowess of the Atlanteans.

Psychic Development Enhanced by Study

We are all psychic because “psychic is of the soul,” as Edgar Cayce, the world’s best documented psychic, said in one of his trance readings.  Some people are naturally more talented in their connection with the spiritual. However, everyone can develop their psychic abilities. Even those individuals who are innately more psychic than others benefit from training of some sort.

Following the path to psychic development requires some real study, as well as deep inner work, even for those who are naturally gifted.

Global Psychics Weblog » Opening the Psychic Channels

The blog post above goes on to recount a personal story in which a psychically talented person got into trouble by attracting negative vibrations due to the lack of effective preparation and closing.

For me, the simple, easy disciplines I learned in Edgar Cayce Search For God Study Groups have been very helpful, especially the “How to meditate” suggestions. They include a prayer of protection and using the 23rd Psalm at the end so that the spiritual centers opened during meditation are closed safely. The Cayce meditation technique also uses a positive affirmation to direct the spiritual unfoldment during meditation toward positive channels.

Have you ever had a scary psychic experience?

Easter Sunrise in Virginia Beach

Today I visited Virginia Beach to photographer the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean on Easter morning. To my surprise, I wasn’t the only one there. Many people gathered on the oceanfront to great the sun (Son) on Easter morning.

Afterward, I went to Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. and took numerous photographs there as well. The meditation garden, with its meandering water lily pond, arched bridge, and flowering camellias, looked lovely in the early light.
