Many Atlantis Replies

I’ve received many email replies to my newsletter mentioning my research on Edgar Cayce’s readings on Atlantis for my May 2nd Lancaster, Pennsylvania seminar on Atlantis and its Colony in Egypt.

This is encouraging because I wondered if, because of the recent great emphasis on 2012 and therefore Yucatan and the Maya, if the perennial interest in ancient Egypt and Atlantis had been diverted.

I think that ancient Egypt and Atlantis will always hold a fascination for many people. I know it does for me.

Edgar Cayce’s Story of Atlantis

I especially enjoy preparing for my upcoming May 2nd speaking event, Atlantis and its Colony in Egypt, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, because I’ll be talking about Hept-supht, an Atlantean who made Egypt his home. Hept-supht sealed the Egyptian Hall of Records which contains records of Atlantis that are duplicates of the records buried under the sea in sunken Atlantis.

“Hola” from Yucatan

We are on Isla Cozumel, an amazingly sacred spot for the ancient Maya. It is the place where their legendary religious leader Izamna arrived and departed from. He travelled on a serpent boat.

I wonder, was Izamna actually from Atlantis – he came from the East – and was the serpent boat actually travel by flying serpent as I experienced in my memories of Atlantis?

Izamna is the Christ-like personnage for the ancient Maya. He is both a person and also a god.

Lost Continents

Athough I automatically think of Atlantis when pondering lost continents, or possibly Lemuria, I read in an online article at

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemuria_(continent)

that two actual lost continents exist in the Pacific Ocean (Zealandia) and the Indian Ocean (Kerguelen Plateau) that were once above water.

Underground Caves in Yucatan

As I said yesterday, Edgar Cayce, America’s “sleeping prophet” said in trance that records left by Atlanteans could be found in Yucatan, Mexico.

It turns out that Yucatan is riddled with extensive underground cave systems. I wonder if the ancient Atlanteans placed their records in one of these caves. Some of the caves extend for miles underground and also include underground rivers.

Edgar Cayce Reading on Atlanteans in Yucatan

Here’s an interesting reading, number 823-1, in which Cayce’s trance source says that:

“With the periods arising when there was the last of the destructions (for the entity sojourned in the Poseidian land, and about that temple there, in the spirit influences of the material activities, for some six thousand years — if counted as time now), the entity journeyed with those people for the Yucatan land, or the establishing of the temple there in which the entity aided.” (823-1)

OK, what is Cayce saying here? That an entity resided in a place in Atlantis called Poseidia for six thousand years? Six thousand years! The entity was alive for six thousand years!  But, it appears the entity was a spirit influencing material activities. OK, that can make sense. The reason the entity can live for six thousand years in a certain place is because the entity was in spirit form, not material form. And, it means that as recent as the last destructions, entities existed in spiritual form influencing the material.

But then, what’s this? “The entity journeyed with those people for the Yucatan land . . .” So, even though the entity was a spirit, it journeyed with others? It journeyed in spirit form? Does that mean that the Atlanteans who came to Yucatan around the last destruction of Atlantis, came in spirit not material form? What do you think?

Swedish Geographer Believes Ireland Was Atlantis

A blog at http://dotie.wordpress.com refers to a book by Swedish geographer Ulf Erlingsson that says that Ireland is actually the last continent of Atlantis. The book is called Atlantis from a Geographer’s Perspective: Mapping the Fairyland. It was published in 2004.

Erlingsson takes Plato’s description of Atlantis in his 360 B.C. treatise, Timaios, and compares it with the geography of Ireland, for example, that both Atlantis and Ireland are islands ringed by mountains with a flat plain in the middle. He says that Ireland, like Atlantis, is 300 miles long and 200 miles wide.

The Golden Ones: From Atlantis to a New World

Today I was doing keyword searches and, to my delight, I saw that more people than I expected are doing internet searches specifically for my first book, The Golden Ones.

That made me feel so good

Who are the Golden Ones? They are people who, during Atlantean times, chose to reincarnate now to help during the difficult times they knew so long ago that we would be going through now–very similar to Atlantis in its technological heyday.
