“Real-life Indiana Jones” David Hatcher Childress proposes that Atlantis may have been in the Sahara Desert. He says that “usually the Tassili and Ahaggar Mountains in southern Algeria, Tunisia or both, “are the locations in the Sahara desert chosen as likely locations of Atlantis.
“When the French colonized North Africa they soon discovered a lost world existed in southern Algeria and that the ancient harbor of Carthage was an exact miniature of the capital of Atlantis as described by the Egyptian priests…”
Unlike Atlantis which was supposed to have been destroyed by inundations of water and earthquakes, the Sahara is supposed to be a dried up seabed. Nonetheless, an interesting theory.
However, I find it fascinating that the ancient Carthaginian harbor was a miniature of the harbor of Atlantis, I assume, with concentric circles of canals. Could ancient Carthage have been a colony designed as a replica of the original?

During one of my events in South Carolina, one of the participants asked, “When do you start the next prayer?” I answered, “Wait. You’ll know.”
That’s how it’s just happened for me. A week ago, a couple of days after finishing my 40-Day Manifestation Prayer, I remembered something in my past I still felt bad about. I knew immediately that this was an opportunity to start a new 40-day prayer, this time for forgiveness.

If you want to feel the wonder of Creation, just take a look up at the nighttime sky when its full of stars. Even in a city today, you can see Jupiter right overhead. It’s presently in Gemini. When I was little, my father would set up his telescope in our driveway and get Jupiter in view. I marveled then and I marvel now to see the moons around Jupiter. If you look through a telescope for a couple of nights, you’ll see that the moons are moving. That is amazing!!! These four, easily visible moons, are called the Galilean moons, since Galileo could also see them. That’s amazing too!!!

Today, the moon is in Sagittarius. That means it’s aligned with the Galactic Center. If you want to look at the Galactic Center, just look at the moon and you’ll be looking in the right direction. To see the moon, you’ll have to wake up early, because the moon isn’t visible until early in the morning around 5:00 a.m.

When I speak to groups in various places, I enjoy meeting the many wonderful people who are are interested in the topics I present. For example, in Greenville and Charleston, South Carolina, among the people I met were:
* A young woman who works at her passion, an interpreter for deaf children
* A nurse who teaches classes on nursing
* A businessman, interested in my Yucatan Travel DVD, who is embarking on his passion: Turkish Adventure Tours
* A woman from Lithuania who is interesting in healing prayer
* A real estate construction estimator
* A young woman who brought her delightful six-year-old daughter who loves spirituality topics
* A former banker who now helps companies by reducing their utility costs
These are just some of the people at my recent events. They are a diverse, very interesting group. In common, they hold an interest in furthering their spiritual development. I feel fortunate to have met them.
During my present American Southeast Tour, I have been talking on a new topic: Have Your Heart’s Desire based on the information in my new book of the same name.

I spoke at Unity Church of Greenville in Greenville, South Carolina, for Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. Study Group in Greenville. At the event, I spoke on a new topic: Have Your Heart’s Desire, based on my latest book of the same name. It was fitting that the church had this tapestry: “If the only prayer you ever pray is ‘thank you’ that would suffice,” since my talk was about the power of prayer, and among the participatory exercises, included how saying “thank you” is so helpful, plus suggestions for making a Gratitude List.

I just finished a 40-Day Manifestation Prayer. If you attended one of my recent events in South Carolina, you know my life began to change as soon as I started this 40-day prayer. That doesn’t often happen. Most of the time, you have to keep praying until the 39th, 49th, or 41st day before you receive a result.
However, I kept on with this particular 40-day prayer and more changes occurred as I went. I did miss Day 11 and so had to start over again. However, on Day 40, I did receive a loving blessing–nothing big or earth-shattering, but something very nice in my life.
Nonetheless, I think I expected something huge to occur and felt a bit disappointed.
However, today, a couple days after the end of that prayer series, I realize that the difference in how I feel today after Day 40 compared to the way I felt on Day One is huge! I feel so much better about the situation I prayed about today than I did on Day One.
As a result, I feel grateful and happy for the ability to do the 40-Day Manifestation Prayer. Also, I have another way of gauging results when I’m explaining the 40-Day Manifestation Prayer to people during my speaking events.
Basically, if you come to Day 40 of your 40-Day Manifestation Prayer and it doesn’t seem as if something huge or stupendous arrived for you on this day, think back to your situation on Day One of the prayer and compare it with your situation on Day 40. For me, there was a huge difference!!!

I’m happy to say that my speaking events in Greenville and Charleston, South Carolina, went well. As usual, I especially enjoyed meeting the many wonderful people who were drawn to this work. They really enrich my life!
The title of the event was, “Have Your Heart’s Desire,”and is based on my new book, Have Your Heart’s Desire. But I like to think of this event as my “Messenger of the Gods,” speech, since my topic includes a couple of highly effective prayers.
For me, eagles symbolize the power of prayer since eagles fly so high and are considered, in many cultures, messengers of the gods. Prayer is a way of sending your message to God, your Higher Power, your Inner Knowing, or whatever you call that part of you accessible through your subconscious that is all-knowing.
