People are buying the End of the World 2012 EBook–Yay!

I’m so excited again, because I received posts on my Facebook page (Facebook.com/CarolChapman8) that a couple of people had bought my  End of the World 2012 Kindle Ebook.  That makes me feel soooo good, because I spent years videotaping the content for the End of the World 2012 movie and editing it, and interviewing people, and travelling in Yucatan, because I want people to know the truth about 2012. And then I worked hard some more and made the information in the movie into an ebook and a paperback book. There is so much misinformation out there! I didn’t go through all this trouble just to say, “Well, there, I did it.” I did it to communicate with others. This morning I received a Facebook post saying:

Hi Carol, just finished reading End of the World 2012 E Book. Really enjoyed it, interesting to get the correct facts about the Maya Long Calender. Thanks for a truthful perspective on 2012 !

The End of the World 2012 Movie, Book, and EBook Cover

I’m so excited, because my End of the World 2012 Movie, paperback book, and ebook Kindle are now available on Amazon.

I’ve worked long and diligently in making the movie, book, and ebook, starting with shooting footage in the Yucatan and interviewing Mayan shamans in 2009. Then, over the next couple of years interviewing experts on the Maya, the Mayan Calendar and the Mayan prophecies. And finally, I am happy that I was able to include recent discoveries in April and June 2012.

This has been a project that has meant a lot to me. In fact, I felt the information in the 2012 movie would be so helpful to others that I also made it into a book and an ebook Kindle by adding behind the scenes descriptions of the making the movie and more information about the people I interviewed.

Now, I’m looking forward to the movie, book, and ebook being of great help to people who are looking for the truth about 2012.

The Latest Up-To-Date Information on the Mayan Calendar, the Alignment with the Galactic Center, and the December 21, 2012 Mayan Prophecies – Will the World End in 2012?

Chapter 6:
Prophecies of a New World from the Maya

To find out more about the Maya prophecies of a new world, we went to visit Dr. Robert K. Sitler, an authority on the Maya and also the Director of the Latin American Studies Program at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He is also the author of The Living Maya: Ancient Wisdom in the Era of 2012.

We talked with Dr. Sitler in his home. I liked that he was dressed casually in a cotton long-sleeved blue top, cotton trousers and sandals. There was something about the way he sat in a relaxed manner, that made me feel instantly comfortable in his presence.

I had first read about Dr. Sitler in an article he wrote, which was included in the book, The Mystery of 2012: Predictions, Prophecies, and Possibilities. Of all the articles in that book, his seemed to be one that appeared to address the actual Mayan prophecy that had originally started all the conjecture about the predictions of doomsday or, conversely, awakening.

Therefore, I felt grateful for the opportunity to interview him, because he seemed to be one of few who actually knew something about the Mayan prophecies and their origins.

Since I considered him to be a treasure trove of real information on the Maya and the Mayan prophecies, I first started by asking about prophecies of a new world.

I told him that I had heard, in my travels while filming the Yucatan Travel Movie that especially the Maya in the Tulum area were talking about something that was going to happen in “2000 and a little bit.” So, I asked Professor Sitler if he knew anything about this.

Maya Prophecies of a New World from the Tulum Area

He replied, “Certainly one of the richest prophetic traditions in the Maya world—that particular area, starting at Tulum and going to the south and west from there, you’re in an area where people sometimes refer to themselves as ‘mas ehual’ [My best phonetic guess at how to spell what Dr. Sitler said, which is probably a phrase in Spanish, but it could also be Mayan.].

He continued, “These are the descendants of the rebels who fought the Caste War in the late 1800s and have been extremely resistance to assimilation into the Hispanic culture.”

By the way, as I mentioned earlier, in the Caste War the indigenous Maya fought the Spanish in an attempt to regain control of their ancestral lands. The Maya lost.

Dr. Sitler continued, “They have very strong prophetic traditions, most of which involve a war, and this time, instead of being brutally defeated, they would emerge victorious from the war. There would be a new world with Maya sensibilities in place.”

I had heard Alfred Rordame describe how Vedic Astrology predicted an opportunity for understanding the mysteries. Now, I heard Dr. Sitler talk about the prophecies of the Maya of the Tulum area, which involved a new world in which a Maya view of the world would predominate.

So far, I hadn’t heard anything about the end of the world.

Megavolcano at Yellowstone may be spent

According to a Wikipedia article, the Megavolcano at Yellowstone  that extends over the state lines of Idaho and Wyoming in the United States may be through with exploding. An excerpt from the extensive article says:

The appearance of light magmas indicates that the uppermost portion of the continental crust has been consumed, …. In this case Yellowstone could be expiring. It could be another 1-2 million years before a new supervolcano is born to the northeast, and the Yellowstone Plateau volcanic field joins the ranks of its deceased ancestors in the Snake River Plain.

Now that my End of the World 2012 Movie is almost ready for distribution, I’m putting together a Kindle eBook version of the movie. In doing so, I looked up information about megavolcanoes and especially the megavolcano at Yellowstone.

In a previous post dated May 31, 2010, I had reported that Yellowstone usually erupts every 600,000 years. Since it’s been 640,000 years since it’s last eruption, it was due for another one at any time. However, the article quoted above is of the opinion that Yellowstone may be at the end of its megavolcanic activity. That sounds good to me.

I wanted to share this information with you, because you may have read, as I have, that, according to some sources, Yellowstone is overdue for a world-shaking megaexplosion. I like to find a balancing opinion. 

Possible Atlantis-destroying volcano swelling with magna

Santorini Volcano in the Aegean Sea, seen in this NASA satellite image, was the site of one of the largest eruptions in the last 10,000 years. The explosion of the volcano removed so much magma from below the Earth that the volcano collapsed, producing a large crater, or caldera.

The Island of Santorini has risen 5.5 inches in the last year and a half according to an article published September 9th in the journal Nature Geoscience leading to speculation that the volcano on Santorini may be getting ready to erupt again. On average, the Santorini volcano has a major eruption about every 10,000 years. The last major eruption, 3,600 years ago, created 40-foot high tsunamis and led to the destruction of the Minoan civilization. Some believe this historical eruption led to the legend of Atlantis since Plato said Atlantis went down in the ocean.

In the past 1.5 years, the magma chamber beneath the volcano island has ballooned by as much as 350 million cubic feet (20 million cubic meters), or up to 15 times the size of London’s Olympic Stadium.

Today I visited with Una Marcotte who is writing a fantastic book about Lemuria. Today we talked about the cover of her book and looked at images she had found online that looked like the kind of cover she would like. We had fun.

I like the humor. Even in the time I’ve been keeping this blog, Atlantis has been “found” in so many places.

However, I do feel sad that the general idea of Atlantis is that it was populated by super-smart people who got wiped out, especially since we consider ourselves super-smart people and we have a whole lot of cool technology. It makes you wonder . . .

What is Mercury Retrograde?

Mercury is the planet closest to the sun in the Solar System. In astrology, Mercury is called the messenger of the gods and rules communications, travel, trickery, and healing. The mythological god Mercury is usually depicted with wings on his heels or head. The planet Mercury appears to go backwards when it goes around the sun. That’s Mercury Retrograde.

The retrograde periods last about three weeks and occur about three times a year.

The next Mercury Retrograde period will be in Scorpio from November 6th to 26th. Look out!

After all the trouble I had with my computer this last Mercury Retrograde period in Leo, I’m thinking that maybe in November I’ll play it safe and stick to cleaning my house and writing Christmas cards.

More Mercury Retrograde problems–from diverted mail to cancelled flights to computer viruses to threats of being “downsized”

Here are some communication/travel/technology problems I heard about from friends that occurred during the last Mercury Retrograde:

• A friend’s son was about to close on the purchase of his first house but a check he had been promised did not arrive in the mail as promised. It turned out that the envelope containing the check had been addressed incorrectly and had be delivered to someone else’s address.
• While flying back from a work travel, a friend’s flight became delayed and then cancelled at her connecting flight with the result that she had to stay overnight and arrived home a day late.
• Someone’s modem broke
• The guy who fixed my hard drive and helped me upload the operating system, utilities, drivers, updates, and software to repair my “injured” computer told me that 75 percent of the tech support calls he had been received in the last couple of weeks (during Mercury Retrograde) had been because of computer viruses, a much higher percentage than usual. He confided that at his home, one end of an electric cord he had bought only three months before blew up and turned black.
• Someone I know was shocked to receive a notice that his place of employment was trying to downsize him.
