No scientific evidence for the existence of Lemuria

So, now, as a result of my discussion yesterday about Hawaii and Lemuria, I’m interested in Lemuria. According to a Wikipedia article on the subject, there once was scientific interest in a lost continent called Lemuria until the theory of plate tectonics gained favor. Presently, according to the Wikipedia article, “there is no scientific evidence to support” claims that Lemuria once existed and disappeared into the sea.

Ruins of Lemuria underwater in Hawaii

At lunch today I talked with a couple of friends about their experiences in Hawaii. This evening, I wondered if Hawaii had anything to do with Lemuria since Hawaii is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and Lemuria was supposed to be in the Pacific Ocean. Well, you can imagine my delight when I saw this excerpt from Crystalinks:

One of Hawaii’s leading authorities on Lemurian research was Sgt. Williard Wannall from Army Intelligence in Oahu. He reported that ruins of a submerged Lemurian city was between Maui and Oahu. It was a Top Secret project in Naval Intelligence in 1972.

Does the possible Confucius forehead lump mean he was from Lemuria?

Yesterday, I showed that, at least in one portrait, Confucius appeared to have a lump, or anyway something, on his forehead. Today I wonder:

Does the lump, if it is a lump, signifies that Confucius was from Lemuria in a past life, and whether the lump characteristic had continued in his physical makeup through reincarnation millennia after the demise of Lemuria, is anyone’s guess.

What do you think? Do you know if Confucius had a lump on his forehead? If so, do you think he was a Lemurian? Or, is this simply too outrageous for you?

Atlantis found in the Mediterranean off Cyprus

Whoopee!! Another “Atlantis found,” and the announcement comes so close after the “Atlantis found” in Spain earlier this year. This latest lost city of Atlantis is underwater in the Mediterranean Sea. The Famagusta Gazette proclaims that:

Explorer Robert Sarmast is returning to Cyprus today to film a television programme. In 2004 Sarmast claimed to have found the legendary city of Atlantis, saying that by using sonar scans he was able to find man-made walls that matched Plato’s description of the structures.

If somebody actually ever finds the real Atlantis, I will be soooo surprised!

“Divine Men” in Atlantis

Have you ever heard of this:

Plato stated that Atlantis was inhabited by humans and “divine men” …
Godlike Productions

I saw this on a website called Godlike Productions as part of a forum thread called, Was the Chicxulub “crater site” really the lost city of Atlantis? Check this out. This was part of a post by Anonymous Coward 1401421 posted on May 26, 2011.

Interesting, right? “Divine men.” I have read excerpts from Plato’s Timaeus and Critias but have not studied the texts where Plato describes the lost continent of Atlantis, therefore, I do not know if this reference to “divine men” is accurate.

However, if it is, it coincides with the Edgar Cayce readings on Atlantis in which Cayce refers to god-like beings who populated Atlantis.

In fact, during past life regression, I had memories of being an Atlantean goddess. You can read about my experiences in my book, When We Were Gods: Insights on Atlantis, Past Lives, Angelic Beings of Light, and Spiritual Awakening.

Ever heard of underwater art depicting Atlantis?

Well, I hadn’t heard of underwater sculpture of the lost continent of Atlantis before. However, it appears that a local artist named Foots is building a concrete image of what his imagination believes was once the lost city of Atlantis. It includes sculptures of Atlanteans. But, it is 40 to 50 feet deep in the Caribbean sea at the Cayman Islands.

Now in his 50s, Foots has stated that he has been obsessed with the myth of Atlantis since he was a small boy. Working almost entirely by himself, Foots has already completed a number of giant sculptures and laid the foundation for Atlantis

Past life regression to the lost continent of Atlantis

Today I had lunch with a girlfriend who is learning how to become a hypnotherapist. She told me that part of her training included a past life regression. During her past life hypnosis, she went back to a time when there were centaurshalf man/half horse … on earth. She was in the lost continent of Atlantis. Her past life memories were very gratifying for me because of my own memories of being a half man/half frog in Atlantis. I describe my past life regressions in my book When We Were Gods, including my travel to Yucatan where I found confirmation of my past life memories in the Mayan ruins.

Was Sweden Atlantis?

Bettany Hughes has written a delightful article, Carving out the buried secrets of the lost city of Atlantis, for The Telegraph. She is convinced that the mega-volcanic eruption that destroyed Thera on the present-day island of Santorini eventually transformed itself into the Atlantis myth.

Although I disagree with her, I love her research. She has discovered that:

… Olaus Rudbeck’s who (as well as discovering the lymph system) spent 30 years in the 17th century writing 3,000 pages to prove Atlantis was in fact Sweden.

How delightful! Why not. If Ireland could be Atlantis, as some folks believe, then why not Sweden!

Edgar Cayce quote on Atlanteans in Peru

Here’s the excerpt from a trance reading from Edgar Cayce, America’s “Sleeping Prophet,” saying that citizens of Atlantis did travel to South America, and specifically Peru:

When in the Atlantean land, there were those making for that change that was for the preservation of the peoples; and the entity – with others – migrated to what is known as the Peruvian, or later known as the Incal land.
Paragraph 4, Reading 470-22, given for a 48-year-old male construction engineer on July 5th, 1938 at Edgar Cayce’s home on Arctic Crescent in Virginia Beach, Virginia
