Past lives, memories of, psychics’ impressions of the lost continent of Lemuria, which is believed to be a myth by many and known about less than Atlantis.

Mu Author’s Descendent Studies Churchward’s Writings

You have got to check out this amazing blog site. It is written and maintained by Jack Churchward who is a grandson or great-grandson of James Churchward, considered by many to be the authority on the Lost Continent of Mu. James Churchward’s first book was called, Lost Continent of Mu Motherland of Man and was published in 1926.

Jack obviously enjoys studying his ancestor’s writings and thoughts . . . and also comparing these writing with modern-day scientific discoveries. In many cases, Jack shows how James’ writings have been disproved by modern science.

We constantly see a great deal written about the ruins of Yucatan and Central America. These writings appear to be exclusively guess work. Herewith is a short synopsis of the history of Yucatan, based on Maya writings, Maya inscriptions, Hindu records, Egyptian records, and Greek writings, and geological phenomena.

Lemuria and Atlantis

Last night I heard a fantastic speech on Lemuria and Atlantis at the Edgar Cayce Forum in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Una Marcotte‘s lecture included visuals showing the location of Atlantis and Lemuria. I especially loved her description of the Atlanteans and Lemurians. She is so good at describing the root races, which I discussed in my books When We Were Gods and Arrival of the Gods in Egypt.

Edgar Cayce: California Once Part of Lemuria

In a number of previous posts, I talked about California being part of what was left of Lemuria after the greater part of that lost continent sunk into what is now the Pacific Ocean. Here’s the Edgar Cayce reading:

“. . . portions of the land were discovered from what was left of Lemuria, or Mu – in what is now lower California, portions of the valleys of death . . . .”

Edgar Cayce Reading 1473-1

This excerpt is taken from a psychic past life reading given on November 10th, 1937 for a 49 year old female.

Largest Tree on Earth – the General Sherman

This giant Sequoia tree, the General Sherman, is the largest tree, by volume, on earth.

As I’ve said before, some people believe that the Sequoia and their close relations, the Redwoods, are trees that survived into the present day from Lemuria, the lost continent that disappeared into the Pacific Ocean. These people also believe that California was once a part of Lemuria.

The General Sherman

Do you see how the General Sherman towers above the other conifers? Doesn’t it look primorial with its thick trunk and puffs of evergreen foliage at the top of the trunk?

Lemurian Sequoia Trees

Carol Chapman & General Sherman

Here I am with the largest tree, by volume, on earth. It’s called the General Sherman and it’s growing at California’s Sequoia National Park.

No, that’s not a rustic cabin behind me. Neither is it a hobbit home.

It’s the gnarled trunk base of the General Sherman.

Some people believe the Sequoia were originally Lemurian vegestation.

Lemuria and the Sequoia

According to some psychic sources, California is a remnant of Lemuria or the cost continent of Mu.

The Sequoia trees, which only live in California, are believed by some to be surviving Lemurian vegetation.

Having just returned from a visit to Sequoia National Park, I can attest that the Sequoia are truly unusual trees.

They are massive. Their branches can reach a diameter of 40 feet!

The largest by volume tree on earth, the Sequoia tree called the General Sherman, is estimated to weigh 1,385 tons! That’s 2,770,000 pounds!!! Isn’t that amazing!!!

People walking around at the base of General Sherman looked like toy people compared to a regular sized tree.

The thick trunk, thick branches and balloon-like foliage bundles really look primordial. They look like some kind of prehistoric tree. You can imagine them with huge ferns billowing around them. When you look at them, they don’t look like they are a part of our world. It makes sense they could have been part of Lemuria or anyway, have survived as representatives of that long ago time.

Sequoia Trees, Lemurian Natives

 As I said yesterday:

Amazingly, the giant Sequoia trees, the largest trees on earth, are surviving Lemurian vegetation.

Carol Chapman —

The Sequoia are the largest trees on earth by volume. A close relative of the Sequoia, the giant Redwoods, also of California, are the tallest trees on earth.

According to some researchers, both of these trees once belonged to the lost continent of Lemuria. Must of Lemuria was destroyed by earth upheavals before Atlantis and descended into the sea. However, part of the lost continent of Lemuria remained above water and, due to continental drift, bumped up against the Rocky Mountains and the West Coast of North America.

Edgar Cayce, Lemuria and Una Marcotte

Yesterday, I visited Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to hear a fascinating lecture by Una Marcotte, an expert on Lemuria.

Whereas, most speakers interested in ancient mysteries focus on Atlantis, ancient Egypt, Yucatan and the ancient Maya – or anyway, I certainly do in my books When We Were Gods and Arrival of the Gods in Egypt – Una emphasizes the ancient civilization that flourished before Atlantis, which was known as Mu. Una explained that the name, “Lemuria” resulted when a 19th century researcher gave the name to a land mass he believed disappeared into the ocean.

I felt absolutely enthralled as she spun her tale, The Ancient Ones of Lemuria, about life forms called the root races, which are different body types used by the soul to interact with the earth. She said that the Lemurians were the 2nd root race and that we humans, a very dense and heavy creature, are the 4th root race. The amazing Lemurians could create companions with thought, a magical people, who Edgar Cayce called thought forms.

Una also showed us maps illustrating where Lemuria or Mu had existed. Most interesting to me, she said that the West Coast of the U.S., including California, had once been a part of Mu which had drifted up against what is now called the Rocky Mountains to create two parallel sets of mountain ranges. Amazingly, the giant Sequoia trees, the largest trees on earth, are surviving Lemurian vegetation.

For her research, Una consulted the psychic readings of Edgar Cayce and Rudolph Steiner plus the research of Churchwood and Cerve. She also referred to my own research, which had surfaced in past life regression. I loved how she put all the information together in an easily understandable manner.

Once a month, the A.R.E. hosts The Forum, a free lecture, co-moderated by Lindy van Burik and Day Schwartz, a daughter/mother team who love to tell jokes to entertain their audience. The Forum is always an enjoyable and informative evening. Next month, November 2008, the speaker will be a psychic medium.
