Dream: End of the Movie

Last night, I had a dream in which I was putting together pieces of video film footage to create the end of the movie.

When I awoke, I wondered if this could mean that I was near the end of my own personal movie, my life.

If I had not actually been editing a movie, this could have been a dream interpretation, or anyway, if not the end of my life, the end of something in my life.

However, because I am actually putting together the Yucatan Travel Movie, and have just finished the first draft, it is more likely that the dream is actually referring to something I need to do to the end of the movie.

This is my dream interpretation: In my dream, the video footage at the end of the movie had to do with images of Jeeves and Wooster, a humorous British comedy I had been watching before I went to bed. At the end of each Jeeves and Wooster episode, there is music playing.

I had one of those “Ah Hah” moments when I realized that I yet need to add video footage to the end of the movie. I have promised the wonderful composers who have allowed me to use their fantastic original music in the Yucatan Travel Movie that I will acknowledge their contributions to the movie in the end credits. I plan to do this with actual video footage of them playing selections from the music I have used.

So, now, I know what I will be doing today: working on the end of the end of the Yucatan Travel Movie. I am excited because this will be fun! Also, I really appreciate the fantastic music I have been able to use.

Marvelous Music for the Yucatan Travel Movie

Yesterday I had the honor and privilege of being surrounded by the beautiful, soaring tones of original music for organ and oboe composed by Deborah L. Carr and played by Deborah on the organ and Melinda McKenzie on the Oboe. Magnificent!

Selections from this piece will be used to create mood with background music in the Yucatan Travel Movie.

I had previously recorded this piece played by them on piano and oboe. However, the depth and power of the organ moved me to tears. I learned that the organ is the most powerful musical instrument, even more powerful than the power of a rock band. After my experience yesterday, I believe it!
