People Said to Believe in Aliens and Ghosts More Than God | LiveScience

More people believe in aliens and ghosts than in God, a new survey finds, according to a British newspaper.

People Said to Believe in Aliens and Ghosts More Than God | LiveScience

A survey of 3000 people found that 58 percent believe in the paranormal including supernatural encounters, while only 54 percent believed God exists. Women, more than men, are likely to believe in the paranormal.

The least likely group of people to believe in the paranormal were deeply religious people.

A Baylor University sociologist Christopher Bader said that a belief in the paranormal appears to be innate to humans. However, the type of supernatural encounters has changed. It used to be that people believed in gnomes and faeries. Now they believe in UFOs and aliens.

Orbs Turn up in Photographs All Over the World

Here’s an excerpt from a Portsmouth, England, newspaper:

Extra-orb-inary!

Published Date: 22 November 2008

By Elise Brewerton

They are erie, unexplained and popping up all over the place.

Strange, white orbs and bizarre glowing lights have been appearing in photos taken by readers all over the world.

Extra-orb-inary! – Portsmouth Today

The article goes on to say that many people believe the orbs are merely specs of dust or water particles highlighted by light. However, others think they are spirits or energy fields that cannot make it to the other world.

One reader noticed orbs in photographs from Vietnam and Cambodia. She said that even though the camera company said the orbs resulted from moisture on the camera, the reader is keeping an open mind because both of the places in the photographs were historical and also, in her opinion, “quite eerie.”

Another reader’s photographs of the Temple of Edfu in Egypt contained many orbs.

These orbs have turned up in a number of my photographs and in photographs people I know had taken. However, I did not realize the orbs were a worldwide phenomenon.

2012 and the Great Pyramid Predictions

I was just talking to a girlfriend who recently returned from a spiritual vacation tour of the mystery lands of Egypt.

She said her visit to the Great Pyramid was the most profound experience during the tour.

In the midst of a flurry of predictions about worldwide 2012 cataclysms, she said that the interpretation of the predictions built into one of the passages within the Great Pyramid goes up to the year 2038.

As far as prophecies go, that’s encouraging. It’s a lot past 2012!

2012 and Izamna’s Disappearance

As I said earlier, Izamna is the great god of the Maya. Do you know that he was the "bearded one?" Amazingly, in a civilization of beardless men, Izamna had a beard. He evidently came from the East. I wonder, was he from Atlantis?

One of the great mysteries around Izamna, is that he disappeared from one of the Yucatan’s most sacred places, the island of Cozumel.

I wonder, was Izamna’s disappearance in any way associated with 2012? For example, could he have left on a day associated with the Long Count Calendar that is similar to the projected 2012? Each of the Mayan days have a prophesied meaning similar to the way our days are associated with a different planet, i.e. Sunday is the Sun’s Day and can be considered in mythological tradition to be a powerful day.

Somewhere I read that when Izamna left, he was carried away on a serpent boat.  Has anyone else read something like this? Please comment if you have.

Edgar Cayce Psychic Reading on "Kabul"

In yesterday’s post, I wrote:

I’m always looking for corroboration of the Edgar Cayce readings on the Yucatan. This private pyramid is called Kabul. I believe there’s a Cayce reading about something similar. Can hardly wait to see it.

Carol Chapman —

Today, I found the Edgar Cayce reading with a similar word. Here’s the excerpt:

"Before that the entity was in the Yucatan land, when there were those activities in which there were those groups that had caused dissension among the worshipers in the temple there of Ichakabal."

(Edgar Cayce Reading  3004-1)

Reading 3004-1 was given for a 55-year-old housewife in 1943.

I wonder if the pyramid called Kabul has anything to do with the temple Ichakabal. Many Mayan pyramids have temples on top of them. There is a good chance there is a temple on top of the Kabul pyramid.

Yucatan Visit

I’m excited about my upcoming visit to the Yucatan. I always love to explore ancient mysteries.

This time, I’m happy because I’ll have a chance to explore a pyramid which is on private land and not accessible to the public without an invitation.

I’m always looking for corroboration of the Edgar Cayce readings on the Yucatan. This private pyramid is called Kabul. I believe there’s a Cayce reading about something similar. Can hardly wait to see it.

Izamna and Izamal, Yucatan, and Edgar Cayce

I’m getting ready for a return visit to Yucatan because I’m making a spirituality movie about the Maya, 2012 and the Yucatan.

In preparation, I’m looking over Edgar Cayce’s psychic readings on the Maya. I’m intrigued by his reference to a place in Yucatan where an Atlantean princess was supposed to have come for work in a sun temple. He calls the place a name that starts with "itza" or "iza."

Therefore, I wonder if he could have referred to the very charming town of Izamal.

Coincidentally, Izamal was the headquarters of a great spiritual leader of the Maya, Izamna.

Edgar Cayce, the Yucatan and the Olmecs

Do you know that  Edgar Cayce said, in trance, that the ancient Maya were influenced by Egyptians — not only representatives of Atlantis and Lemuria?

This would seem preposterous and unbelievable except for those large multi-tonned stone carvings of heads found west of Villahermosa in Mexico at La Venta. The faces of the stone heads look very African.

Could they be the Egyptians Edgar Cayce referred to?

Great Blog Recovery from My Small Biz U

I’ve got to tell you how happy I am to have this blog hosted by My Small Biz University at http://www.mysmallbizu.com.

A couple of days ago, while uploading my new web site, Inspirational Quotes Wallpaper, I somehow loaded the web site into the blog spot. Basically, I totally deleted this blog and all the postings I’d made since February 2007 – almost two years of blog posts.

Thank God this blog is hosted by My Small Biz U. Even though I believed I’d lost the blog forever, on the off chance that it could somehow be retrieved, I sent an emergency support ticket to My Small Biz U.

I’ve been a member of My Small Biz U for about two years. In fact, it was James Maduk, at My Small Biz U, who helped me to start this blog and has continued to advise me on how to grow my online business for these past two years.

Amazingly, he was able to retrieve the blog.

I really appreciate his help.

Edgar Cayce: California Once Part of Lemuria

In a number of previous posts, I talked about California being part of what was left of Lemuria after the greater part of that lost continent sunk into what is now the Pacific Ocean. Here’s the Edgar Cayce reading:

“. . . portions of the land were discovered from what was left of Lemuria, or Mu – in what is now lower California, portions of the valleys of death . . . .”

Edgar Cayce Reading 1473-1

This excerpt is taken from a psychic past life reading given on November 10th, 1937 for a 49 year old female.
