Did Confucius have a lump on his forehead?
In response to the telephone call I received yesterday, I decided to do some research today. As I wrote in my post yesterday, my friend had said that she had just read a book about Lemuria saying that Lemurians had a lump on their forehead and that Confucius had a lump on his forehead. She thought this could indicate that Confucius had been a Lemurian in a past life. Therefore, I wondered: Did Confucius really have a lump on his forehead? So, today I did a Google search for portraits of Confucius. This is difficult since Confucius was born in 551 B.C. and, according to the Wikipedia article, Confucius:
No contemporary painting or sculpture of Confucius survives, and it was only during the Han Dynasty that he was portrayed visually.

However, as you can see in the Wikipedia image on the left, it appears that Confucius did have something on his forehead, or anyway, he does in this image. This was the only online image of Confucius I found in which he seemed to have something on his forehead, by the way. There may be a tradition that Confucius had a lump on this forehead so that this Tang Dynasty artist made this image to show that characteristic about a thousand years after the death of Confucius.
