Back to Cozumel

After a number of days away from editing the Yucatan Travel Movie, I am returning to the joyful exercise of choosing video clips on Cozumel Island, trimming the clips to their most effect length, putting them together, followed by the great fun of adding music to the scenes.

Anticipated Recording Session Today

One of the hardest parts of creating the Yucatan Travel Movie has been finding good background music that is has rights available to me. All the popular music that is readily available in stores in copyrighted.

I have had to look to local musicians and composers . . . with wonderful results. The music I have found is fantastic. Today, I go to record a piece by a woman who is an organist at a local church. She is also a composer. The piece is for organ and oboe. It is also great when played on the piano and oboe. It has a moody Spanish-sounding tango in it. Ole!

Back to Cozumel!

After returning to the Playa del Carmen “walking on the beach with Pelicans diving” scene to add the Sony Vegas cinescore-generated music in the Yucatan Travel Movie, I am ready to move on to editing the footage of the trip on the car ferry to Isla Cozumel.
