Chinese Pyramids

Amazingly, China also has pyramids, such as this amazing one called Xianyang 7. Even though it is covered in vegetation, notice the side at the top of this aerial photo. It buckles in the way the side of the Great Pyramid in Egypt buckles in. I described this phenomenon, illustrated with a diagram and photo, in my book, Arrival of the Gods in Egypt.

Bosnian Pyramids Oriented to North/South

One thing that makes me think the Bosnian pyramids are man made are that, according to Dr. Dr. Sam Semir Osmanagic, they oriented to North/South, as are the Great Pyramids of Egypt. Maybe it’s just a coincidence.

According to this Wikipedia article entitled, Bosnian Pyramids,

Scientific investigations of the site show that the so-called pyramids are natural formations and that there are no signs of human building involved.[2][3][4] Additionally, scientists have criticised the Bosnian authorities for supporting the pyramid claim saying, “This scheme is a cruel hoax on an unsuspecting public and has no place in the world of genuine science.” ~ Bosnian Pyramids[5]

Experts vouch for authenticity of Bosnian Pyramids, that they are NOT natural formations but manmade.

That’s one of the problems in determining what parts of a geological formation are man made and what are not. Just because patio-type stones are arranged at the base of a hill, does that mean that the hill is also man made? Not necessarily. Here’s a YouTube video of a number of experts vouching the authenticity of the Bosnian Pyramids.

Even though expert archaeologists say the Bosnian pyramids cannot be manmade, stones excavated at the base of the “hills” sure look man made to me. Of course, they may not have anything to do with the so-called pyramids.

In January and February of this year (2011), I made a number of posts on the Pyramids in Bosnia. In these posts, I referred to numerous established archaeologists’ assessments that the discovery of a group of pyramids in the small European country of Bosnia where actually a hoax. They say that what appear to be pyramids are actually pyramid-shaped hills.

Perhaps.

Today I viewed a number of YouTube videos in which Bosnian Pyramid discoverer Dr. Sam Semir Osmanagic of Bosnia, presently of Houston, Texas, USA, gives a Powerpoint Presentation showing carved stones fitted together to make a terrace and tunnels that definitely look man made. If these are the original stones uncovered from under earth and vegetation, they could not be natural formations. The stones fit together at 90 degree angles and are level. Here’s a link to the third of 4 online videos on the Bosnian Pyramids. The video is over 12 minutes long and took quite a while to load on my computer.

Overall, the earth is in a cooling trend, not warming!

Take a look at this chart from the John Baez Temperature article that I referred to yesterday. Note that “today” is at the top of the image and that 4600 million years ago (Ma means “millions of years ago”) is at the bottom of the chart. That means that, overall, we are in a much cooler climate than the earth has been in the past!

The earth’s climate was much warmer millions of years ago

There is so much alarm because of Global Climate Change. Therefore, I wanted to see if the earth was ever as warm or warmer than it is now. I found that the earth has been much warmer than it is today millions of years ago.

This shows the Earth’s temperature since the extinction of the dinosaurs about 65 million years ago – the end of the Mesozoic and beginning of the Cenozoic. At first the Earth warmed up, reaching its warmest 50 million years ago: the “Eocene Optimum”. The spike before that labelled “PETM” is a fascinating event called the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum. At the end of the Eocene the Earth cooled rapidly and the Antarctic acquired year-round ice. After a warming spell near the end of the Oligocene, further cooling and an increasingly jittery climate led ultimately to the current age of rapid glacial cycles – “ice ages”.

Archeologists need to explore underwater ruins more says Graham Hancock

Since a reviewer at Amazon.com has likened my When We Were Gods to books by the great Graham Hancock (how humbling and delightful), I am always interested and intrigued by Mr. Hancock’s observations. He writes about underwater archeological excavations pointing out that since much of the earth was at one time covered by ice, during the Ice Age, many ruins from that time are now covered by ocean water, as a result of the ongoing melting of the ice.

For example, on his website, in his Underworld archives he writes:

But now let’s remember as well that along continental margins and around islands across the world an area bigger than the Unites States of America was inundated at the end of the Ice Age: 3 million square kilometres (an area the size of India) was submerged around Greater Australia alone; another 3 million square kilometres went under around South-East Asia; the Florida, Yucatan and Grand Bahama Banks were fully-exposed off the Gulf of Mexico; huge areas of land were swallowed up in the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, the North Sea and the Atlantic, etc, etc, etc – the list really does goes on and on.
In my view the possibility of a serious “black hole” in scientific knowledge about recent prehistory is plausible, reasonable and worthy of consideration. I therefore propose that the conclusions of modern archaeology regarding the origins and early evolution of human civilisation should be treated as provisional until a comprehensive, global, marine-archaeological survey of continental shelves down to depths of at least 120 metres has been undertaken.

Graham Hancock and Carole Chapman’s books are similar according to Amazon reviewer

I love Graham Hancock’s books and felt honored when a reviewer on Amazon.com derided my book, When We Were Gods, by Carole Chapman as being in the same league as one by Graham Hancock!

In fact, the Amazon review, posted February 23, 2007 by William Podmore begins by saying,

Like Graham Hancock’s books, this is a load of nonsense. Any books whose titles include any of the words ‘quest’, ‘sphinx’, ‘Holy Grail’, ‘Ark of the Covenant’, ‘ancient’, ‘mysterious’, ‘secrets’, ‘Atlantis’, ‘Templar’, ‘alien’, ‘code’, ‘supernatural’, ‘mythic’, ‘cosmic’, are just giving away the fact that they are unscientific rubbish.

That’s the kind of unscientific rubbish I like to be aligned with. In my opinion, Graham Hancock is a marvelous researcher and explorer of unexplained mysteries.
