I also received an email about the Ark of the Covenant from a man in British Columbia who is not on my newsletter list but was referred to me from someone who is. I wrote to him and asked him if I could use his name when I shared his email but I did not receive a “yes” or “no.” Nonetheless, I want to share his email since it is quite interesting, informative and intriguing. He writes:

One reader wrote wondering if the Ark of the Covenant actually exists.

However, I do look at us in a very different way than most people do, which is that we are all inherently and in our essence Light Beings made in the image of the Creator. And, it is this Light Being or soul that lives on forever.

Or, anyway, close to a replica of Noah’s Arc. He says it’s 1/2 the length and 1/3 the width of the original arc. If you look at the photos at http://www.pbase.com:80/paulthedane/noahs_ark you’ll see that even though the Dutch contractor’s version of Noah’s arc is less than 1/2 the size of the original arc (according to the contractor – more on that later) nonetheless, it is huge and big enough to house many types of animals.
I found this selection interesting and insightful in that it described the concept that the one god of Christianity originated in ancient Egyptian belief very well so I could understand it in a new way.
